What information do we collect and how do we use it?

When you order, we need to know your name, date of birth (to confirm you are 18 or over) , e-mail address, contact phone numbers, mailing and delivery address, credit card number and expiration date. This allows us to process and fulfil your orders and to notify you of your order status.
When you voluntarily sign up for our e-mail alerts, we need only a name and e-mail address - which we use to send the information you requested. The information you volunteer regarding a gift recipient is used solely to fulfil gifts you choose to send to that person. When you enter a contest or other promotional feature, we may ask for your name, address, contact phone numbers and e-mail address so we can administer the contest and notify winners.
We collect aggregate information on customer traffic patterns and site usage to help us develop the design and layout of the store.

How will The Wine Room protect my information?
